Genio works together with you to provide a kid-friendly environment for your child to explore the Internet, by limiting the sites that they are allowed to visit. Only sites that have been pre-approved and added to the whitelist by you can be visited, i.e. access to all other sites is prohibited.
Select the Parental Controls icon at the bottom right corner of the profile selection screen to enter Parental Controls.
Enter your Parental Controls passcode on the next screen.
First, select "Child Profile Manager" from the Parental Controls menu. Then, select "Web Browser Controls" to continue.
Select the "Whitelist" tab to manage the whitelist.
If you want to add a site of your own choosing, click the green "Parent-Approved" icon, then click the "Browse and Add" icon continue.
Or directly select the "Browse" tab and enter the address of the site you would like to visit. Click "+ Add" and the site will be added to the whitelist.
To check your own choices, go back to the "Whitelist" tab, and click the green "Parent-Approved" icon. It will show all the sites you have added to the whitelist.
To remove a site from the whitelist, untick the circle next to it. Tick the circle again to add the site back. You can also click the rubbish-bin icon
to remove it from the list entirely.
Note: The websites you add may contain links to other websites which may not be accessible to your child. This is to prevent your children from accessing sites that have not been
approved by you.
