You can limit the amount of time your child can play each day, or mark certain hours of the day as off limits.
Select the Parental Controls icon at the bottom right corner of the profile selection screen to enter Parental Controls.
Enter your Parental Controls passcode on the next screen.
First, select "Child Profile Manager" from the Parental Controls menu. Then, select "Time Limits" to continue.
To limit the amount of time your child can play each day, drag the yellow slider under "Daily Usage Limit" section. You can set the limit from 0 to 8 hours a day, or allow unlimited usage.
When your child almost reaches the limit, a notification will appear to prompt that the time is almost up.
Once it reaches the limit, a popup will show and stay on screen for 10 seconds. It will then exit to the profile selection screen.
If your child tries to enter the relative account again, a popup will show and prompt to come back tomorrow.
You can enter the Parental Controls to change these options, or click on the Add more Time icon shown at the bottom left corner of the popup to extend the playtime, if necessary.
If you want to mark certain hours of the day as off limits, untick the boxes next to any hours you don't want your child to be able to access under "The Laptop can be used during these hours" section.
Similar to the case above, a popup will show and stay on screen for 10 seconds when you child reaches any time slot that is not allowed. It will then exit to the profile selection screen.
If your child tries to enter the relative account again, this time they will be prompted to come back at the next permitted time.
